Amaravati: The TDP announced that it will fight against the government both in Council and Courts on the unfairly passing the AP CRDA repeal bill and decentralized development bill in the Assembly. The TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu said that the government passed the bills in the Assembly for the second time by violating rules and procedures of the Legislature and Constitution, in a press conference on Tuesday.

He said that when the Bills were sent to the Select Committee by the Council, the Assembly was not supposed to introduce or pass the same bills a second time. Till the procedure is completed in the Council, the government must wait to introduce it in the Assembly, he explained. Further, he said that the TDP will give a befitting reply to the Government in the Council and will also file a case in the Court.

Meanwhile, the TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh said that the government created a constitutional crisis by passing the bills in the Assembly, which were pending in the Council. He said that when the Council ordered for the select committee, the government did not constitute it. On the other hand, the Leader of the Opposition in the Council and former Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu stated that the Government accepted in the High Court that the bills were sent to the Select Committee by the Council. But, here the government has been misleading the public by violating all the constitutional frameworks. The YSRCP government was not giving respect to the Council, Courts and other Constitutional institutions and behaving adamantly.
