TDP's 16 demands for justice to victims of YSRCP attacks
Amaravati: The TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has placed altogether 16 demands on the state government to ensure justice to the victims of the YSRCP attacks across the state, during a press conference at Guntur on Tuesday. He put these demands just a day before the schedule to visit the Atmakur village in Palnadu region in Guntur district, from where hundreds of TDP followers migrated due to the fear of YSRCP attacks.
The demands:
1. Government has to provide at least Rs 1 lakh to each victim as ex-gratia.
2. Compensation must be paid for the damaged and destroyed properties.
3. Govt must pay compensation to the farmers, who were not allowed to cultivate their agriculture lands. The annuity must be paid to all farmers, who lost the sowing period.
4. Picketing must be established at all the YSRCP affected villages. Police patrolling should be there.
5. Patrolling teams should be increased. CCTV surveillance needed.
6. Bind Over cases must be put on the accused persons in all these cases.
7. A central command centre must be established at the state level.
8. Govt must react immediately on any law and order violation in the state.
9. FIRs must be registered for the pending cases in the state, which were denied by the police when TDP followers lodged.
10. The police department must take action against the officials those who did not take complaints and humiliated. They must be transferred with immediate effect.
11. YSRCP removed many contract and outsourcing employees. Govt must give employment to them. They including Anganwadis, Nrega field assistants, Asha workers, ANMs, PDS dealers and other small employees.
12. Do justice to all the victims.
13. Govt must lift the illegal cases put on TDP leaders and followers. Govt must promise that there will be no fake or illegal cases against TDP followers.
14. Lift the fake cases against TDP social media activists.
15. All the fake cases lodged under SC and ST Atrocities Act must be lifted.
16. State government must give a clear promise on all these demands.
