Amaravati: The TDP high command has decided to conduct the Mahanadu – annual party meeting – through online. It will be organized for two days including May 27 and 28, instead three days like before.

This is the first time to hold the Mahanadu on online since the inception of the party by former CM NT Ramarao. Party will hold the Mahanadu by using Zoom video application.

This decision has taken in view of adhering to the ongoing lockdown enforced in view of the COVID19.

All the leaders unanimously accepted this decision to conduct the Mahanadu online during the party Politburo meeting held on Wednesday. Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and all other leaders accepted this proposal, informed former ministers Kaluva Srinivasulu and Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy in a press conference. The Politburo passed a virtual resolution on it, they added.

They said that in view of the physical distancing restrictions, it wouldn't be possible to organise Mahanadu as before with large scale coming together of the party leaders and cadres from all over the State.
