Techfest-2019 concludes at SRM

SRM officials presenting prizes to the winners in Eluru on Tuesday

Amaravati: Techfest-2019 concluded on a grand note at SRM University on Monday. The three-day fest began on September 28 on the college campus. Students from various universities from across the country participated in various events organised at the fest.

Speaking on the concluding day, SRM vice-chancellor Dr Jamshed Bharucha said with hard work and dedication the students can achieve their goals. The advanced technology available should be used in a proper and systematic way by the students.

Pro0-vice-chancellor Dr D Narayana Rao suggested the students to 'Aim high – Achieve Higher'. Students from various Universities, who had shown their talent received prizes from vice-chancellor and Pro vice-chancellor on the occasion. The Hack SRM title was won by the students of DY Patil Engineering College, Mumbai and received Rs 30,000.

The second prize was won by SRM Amaravati and the third prize was won by BNMIT, Bangalore. Registrar Dr Gunashekar, dean Dr Vijayasekhar, Techfest chairman Purnachander, convener Dr Venkat Nori, Gangireddy and others were present.
