Temperatures soar to 47 degree Celsius in AP

Amaravati: The sizzling summer temperatures have crossed 47 degree Celsius in the state. The mercury levels will be continuing at the same point for the coming two days along with the heatwaves.

Starting in the morning from 10 am the heat intensity has increased in many areas. The RTGS officials said the maximum temperature of 47 degree Celsius has recorded at Kurichedu, in Prakasam district.

West Godavari, Jaggannapeta - 46.92, Chittoor, Nindra - 46.85, Kurnool, Dinnedevarapadu - 46.79, Prakasam, Tripuranthakam - 46.78, Santhanuthalapadu - 46.67, Nellore - 46.51, Guntur, Pedanandipadu - 46.22, East Godavari, Bommuru - 46.06 degrees centigrade temperature have been recorded.
