Temples decked up for Toli Ekadasi today

Rajamahendravaram: All Sri Vaishnavite temples in the district were decked up to perform Toli Ekadasi fest on Friday. As part of it, abishekams and special pujas will be performed in the temples such as archana, thomala, poolangi seva etc.

In the city, Sri Venugopala Swamy temple, Venkateswara Swamy temples at KVR Swamy road, Subramanya Mydanam, AVA road, Tilak road, Govinda Kshetram, Satyanarayana Swamy temple, Sri Ranganadha Swamy temple, Asta Lakshmi temple, Sri Lakshi Nrusimha Swamy temple at Tilak road and Simhachala Nagar, Srungara Vallabha Swamy temple at Toli Tirupathi, Bhavanarayana Swamy temple at Sarpavaram, Bindu Madhava Swamy temple at Pithapuram, Lakshmi Nrisimha Swamy temples at Korukondaand Antervedi were decked up and the temple managements made necessary arrangements to meet the pilgrim rush.

Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy temple management at Annavaram also made elaborate arrangements to provide hassle-free darshan for the devotees and the management is expecting about 40,000 devotees will throng the sacred shrine Ratnagiri for the darshan of the lord. Meanwhile, the bathing ghats in the city were also cleaned as thousands of people take holy dip in River Godavari in connection with Toli Ekadasi.
