There's no going back on three capitals, Minister Botsa Satyanarayana clarifies
After the speculations rife on the GN Rao and Boston committee reports stating that they had given the statements against the proposal of making Visakhapatnam as the administrative capital, the minister for Municipal and Urban Development Botsa Satyanarayana has condemned the rumours and clarified it. He said that there is going back on the formation of three capitals. "It may de be delayed, but the decision of three capitals and CRDA repeal will come into effect soon," he added.
Taking a dig at TDP and Its associated media houses, Botsa said made accusations on Chandrababu that he and his media houses would resort to any means for their political gain. He said that the decision of floating three capitals is made to take the developmental activities to all corners of the state and for the welfare of all communities as well.
He appealed everyone not to hinder the development of the Andhra Pradesh for on the political basis. Botsa asserted that the three capitals had nothing to do with the abolition of the council. The council was abolished as it has no use, which lays a financial burden on the government.
