Guntur: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu signed off the high-decibel campaign urging people to teach a befitting lesson to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and YSRCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy who had joined hands to stall progress of Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking at Tadikonda in Guntur district on Tuesday evening, Naidu recalled the problems state had to face after bifurcation and how he strived to put it back on tracks. Sporting headset microphone, the Chief Minister explained the welfare and development in last five years and how Modi, KCR and Jagan "conspired" against him to harm the interests of Andhra Pradesh.

Explaining the victories of the state government, the Chief Minister appealed voters to think wisely before voting. He said he had done whatever best was possible in the last five years despite hurdles. He said because of various measures taken up by him, the land value in almost all the districts had shot up and he had succeeded in creating brand image for Amaravati.

People across the globe know where Amravati is. If the voters err and vote for YSRCP, they would lose the land, capital city will disappear and there would be arson and chaos in the state. This would affect the future of the state and the future generations. The pace of development would come to standstill.

Naidu said even on the last day of campaign, Jagan did not assure the people that there was no threat to Amaravati and Polavaram project and was still looking towards the money which KCR and Modi were sending to him to buy votes. Jagan has always been opposed to Amaravati as capital. Jagan is known for wrong thinking and wrong acts, Naidu added.

He said during these 15 days, he had done his best to explain to the people about the ground realities and was now leaving the judgement to them. He said next two days would be very crucial. Modi, KCR Jagan combination would try all kinds of tricks like distributing money on largescale, threatening voters, candidates and even polling agents and might even resort to arson at some places.
