Three die, four hurt in a road accident near Hanuman Junction in Krishna district

In a ghastly road incident, three persons died and four persons injured near Bommaluru village on the National Highway under the limits of Hanuman Junction police station in Krishna district in the early hours of Monday. The mishap occurred when a speeding car rammed a truck parked on the national highway. The victims were returning to Nuzvid after attending a marriage in Bhimavaram of west Godavari district.

Hanuman Junction DV Ramana, Sub inspector of police N Chantibabu with the police personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to government hospital, Eluru for the treatment. Two men and one woman are among the victims. One of the victims belongs to Vijayawada and two others are from Yerragondapalli village of Chintalapudi mandal in West Godavari district. The bodies of the three deceased sent to the Nuzvid government hospital for the post-mortem.

The police had registered the case and investigating further.
