Three high risk zones identified in Visakhapatnam over Coronavirus outbreak

Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Alla Nani has warned that those who come to the state from abroad should cooperate with the authorities. He said 20 committees have been set up in Vishakha district to prevent corona. He was speaking to media along with two other ministers Kannababu and Avanti Srinivas in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday. He said there were three corona positive cases.

He explained that the Seethammadhara, Gajuwaka and Anakapalli areas of the city were identified as high-risk zones. Special measures are being taken in those areas. "There are as many as 1470 Home Quarantines throughout the district and district administration is vigilant on the prevention of corona, " Alla Nani said.

Minister Kannababu said the Visakhapatnam district administration is on their legs in taking measures against the coronavirus spread. "The areas where the foreign returnees are high in number are declared as high-risk zones and one officer is assigned to every 10 foreign travellers, " Kannababu said.
