Tirumala: Vyasaraya Mutt seer offers prayers at Tirumala temple

Tirumala: The 41st pontiff of Vyasaraya Mutt, Sri Sri Vidyashreesha Teertha Swamiji offered prayers at Tirumala temple on Monday. He was received by temple priests and officials at the Sacred Fig tree located near Old Annaprasadam Complex as per age-old temple traditional honours (Pedda Maryada) being accorded to only select Peetadhipathis.

Executive Officer Dr K S Jawahar Reddy and Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy are among those who welcomed the seer, while the Archakas took the pontiff to Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple with Isthikapal honours before his arrival at Sri Venkateswara Swamy shrine for darshan.

TTD Board members Govindahari, D P Ananta, Tirumala temple Deputy EO Harindranath and others were also present.
