Tirupati: All set to conduct trial run for Srivari darshan
Tirupati: TTD is all set to conduct Darshan trial run in Tirumala Srivari temple from June 8 and the officials made elaborate arrangements at Tirumala and at Alipiri check-post in Tirupati. TTD has taken necessary measures to check the devotees from June 11.
TTD has already made available thermal scanners, sanitisers, hand wash kits, gloves for usage of security personnel at Alipiri check-post. It also arranged sanitisation channel with required chemicals to sanitise the vehicles which will come from outside. Before the vehicles enter into ghat road, security officials will check devotees online darshan tickets and room accommodation confirmation. Based on that they will allow devotees to Tirumala.
TTD Chief Security and Vigilance Officer Gopinath Jetti visited the Alipiri check-point on Saturday and examined the arrangements to curb the spread of coronavirus. He has given instructions to SPF Police and TTD security staff on how to handle the devotees during the checking time. To avoid delay in checking TTD placed door frame metal detectors at vehicles entry point. TTD has deployed sufficient medical teams, and trained security staff. CVSO Jetti said that devotees of above 60 years age and children of below 10 years will not be allowed for darshan as per Government of India guide lines.
In Tirumala GNC toll gate, vigilance officials also made arrangements to collect random blood samples if any suspect case is noticed during checking time. For this TTD health department has taken steps to collect samples from Devotees as well as its employees.
