Tirupati: BJP calls for boycott of Chinese goods
Tirupati: BJP activists led by party state secretary G Bhanuprakash Reddy paid homage to Galwan Valley martyrs here on Wednesday.
The activists paid floral tributes to 20 brave soldiers, who laid their lives in the border conflict with China and observed two minutes silence in respect of the departed souls at Amar Jawan memorial near Kapilatheertham in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhanuprkash said the real ugly face of China came out with the unprovoked attack on our soldiers in Ladakh valley and observed that the sacrifice of our Jawans will not go waste.
Party state spokesperson Samanchi Srinivas said that China unable digest the India's growth internationally commercially and in diplomacy, resorting to occupy our territory but failed to realize that it is not 1962 to cowdown India which now in position to repulse Chinese attack.
In this connection, he said that it is time for the 130 crore Indians to boycott the Chinese products to teach a lesson to that country.
Candle light rally was held by youth and sports persons as a mark of homage to the martyrs in the city later in the evening.
Slogans hailing the Jawans and our country and condemning China raised by the youth in the procession. They also called for boycott of Chinese products.
