Tirupati: The former MP Chinta Mohan has flayed government's decision to privatise Railways which was started 135 years ago.
With the affordable ticket prices, poor and middle class passengers are travelling through Indian Railways. With privatisation of trains, fares will be hiked making it unaffordable for poor people.
He demanded withdrawal of privatisation of Railways. Mentioning about the risk of coronavirus, Mohan warned that Tirumala temple entry for Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra pilgrims may spread the virus to entire holy city which will have devastating effect on the denizens.
