Tirupati: Cops urge people to provide info on ID liquor, sand transportation

Tirupati: City Urban Police held first special enforcement bureau (SEB) meeting to curb illicitly distilled (ID) liquor and illegal sand transport in its limits. Tirupati and Chittoor police SEB in-charge Y Rishanth Reddy participated in the meeting along with SP Urban A Ramesh Reddy on Friday.

SP Ramesh Reddy said that people have to come forward to pass on the information pertaining to ID liquor and illegal sand transportation in the district. If anyone give the information about wrongdoers police will keep their details secret.

In the meeting ASP law and order Anilbabu, DSPs Gangaiah, Narasappa, Murali Krishna and other were present. People can contact police officials concerned over this phone number 9440900004 to inform about illegal sand and ID liquor transport.
