Tirupati: Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya calls ex-BJP district chief B Chandra Reddy

Tirupati: Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya on Monday spoke over phone with former BJP district president B Chandra Reddy recalling their long association and also enquired about party seniors and prevailing conditions in the pilgrim city in the wake of lockdown.

Dattatreaya, in his long conversation went down the memory lane by mentioning his trips to Tirumala for darshan and also attending meetings in Chittoor district for strengthening BJP and its former avatar Bharatiya Jana Sangh.

Chandra Reddy, who served as BJP Chittoor district president twice, till 2019 hails from a staunch RSS and BJP family in the city and his father B Nalla Reddy also worked for Sangh Pariwar till his death. The Governor also remembered working with Nalla Reddy and also other senior leaders in the district.

Dattreya, who worked as the president of the undivided Andhra Pradesh BJP, and also Union Minister fondly recalled his long association with other leaders from the city, said Chandra Reddy in a release here on Monday.
