Tirupati: It's a new record in creating government jobs, claims Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy

Tirupati: Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Commercial Taxes K Narayana Swamy claimed that Jagan Mohan Reddy's move to create lakhs of government jobs to youth is a new record in the country.

Narayana Swamy participated as chief guest at a programme to hand over appointment letters. The function was held at SV University Auditorium here on Monday and candidates from across the district participated. He advised the newly selected candidates that they should work hard in full filling their day to day job chart after assuming the charges as government employees.

Under the supervision of District Collector N Bharat Gupta , the government will give training to the selected employees in next two days, he said.

He announced that so far 11,500 above candidates were selected for Grama Sachivalyam and Ward Sachivalayam posts in Chittoor District. After his speech, Deputy CM handed over the appointment letters to the selected candidates for Grama Sachivalayams.

Tirupati MP Balli Duraga Prasad stated that it is a golden opportunity for youth who got jobs and it is the right time for them to prove themselves to perform effectively.

District Collector N Bharat Gupta gave a call to the new job holders that they have to work for bringing good name to Chief Minister as well as state government. Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy also spoke at the meeting. Many parents were seen filled with joy at SV University Auditorium. MLAs B MadhuSudan Reddy, A Srinivasulu, C Ramachandra Reddy and others were present.
