Tirupati: Make appointment on compassionate ground

Tirupati: AP NGOs Association district unit president S Suresh Babu demanded compassionate appointment to the kin of government employee Reddy Sekhar, who died of heart attack while discharging duties at Covid ward in Ruia hospital.

He submitted a memorandum to Ruia hospital superintendent Dr T Bharati on Wednesday stating that the employee was working in PHCs and discharged duties at Covid ward in Ruia hospital for last two months.

He was died of heart attack during that time. As he was survived by wife and two small daughters, the Collector should take steps to get insurance for his family under Garib Kalyan Yojana and give job on compassionate grounds to his kin.

He also demanded to fill the posts which are lying vacant for the last 10 years which needs to be filled with promotions. Association Secretary Nainar Prasad was also present.
