Tirupati: Networking is the key for success in life and self-motivated passionate persons will always come up with innovative ideas, said Dr Meera Venkat, president and CEO, Raise Global, Bengaluru.

Delivering her keynote address at the three-day entrepreneurship awareness camp (EAC) at Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) here on Wednesday, she said that it was essential to learn to sell which is an art and smart work abilities are to be acquired in addition to being working hard. She added everyone should learn to analyse the strengths and weaknesses to converse into success and suggested not to give up taking risk.

Prof A Ramakrishna Rao, Director of School of Engineering and Technology of the University was the chief guest. He said the meaning of entrepreneur involves much more than being a business or job creator. Saying that entrepreneurs were some of the world's most powerful transformers, he referred Bachendri Pal who was the first woman to climb Mount Everest.

Prof A Jyothi, secretary, SSIIE, advised the students to start entrepreneurial ventures and explained about the technology business incubator available on the campus. Prof T Tripura Sundari, coordinator of the event, said about the various facets of entrepreneurship as an alternative career option and highlighted the objectives of the camp. Faculty members and the team members of TBI were present. The programme was organised by SPMVV Society for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship Technology Business Incubator (SSIIE-TBI), Tirupati.
