Tirupati receives showers

Tirupati: Pilgrim city received welcome showers on Thursday bring down the scorching heat in the city which is facing since a week to some extent. The weather suddenly changed in the evening becoming cloudy giving respite from the searing heat followed by showers that lasted for about 15-20 minutes in the city.

According to official sources, rains were also reported in many mandals including Peddathippasamduram (PTM), Molakalacheruvu and Nimmanapalli in the western parts of Chittoor district on Thursday.
