Tirupati: SWUF seeks better amenities to TTD employees in SVIMS

Tirupati: A delegation of Staff and Workers United Front (CITU) met SVIMS Director-cum-Vice-Chancellor B Vengamma on Wednesday on the difficulties the TTD employees facing in SVIMS and sought her intervention to resolve the issues.

SWUF senior leader G Venkatesam, who led the delegation sought SVIMS director to restart the closed TTD employees OP clinic and also set up a separate counter for employees for lab tests to avoid delay.

He also requested to allocate beds separately for TTD employees in the emergency ward and also allotment special rooms to the employees at the time of admission as inpatients for treatment in SVIMS.

Vengamma said that after discussion with concerned, the resuming of separate OP clinic for TTD employees will be decided within a week. She also responded positively on setting up separate counter for employees for lab services and assured to look into other demands. SWUF general secretary A Nagaratnam and leader K Gunasekhar were also present.
