Tirupati: TTD to conduct Saraswathi Yagam for students on Feb 20

Tirupati: As a part of the propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, TTD under the

aegis of its Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP), will be organising Saraswathi Maha Yagam here on February 20 and 10,000 students are expected to participate.

The mass event is aimed at the students to boost up their confidence to perform well in their upcoming exams. The students belonging to TTD and government educational

institutions from Class Eighth to Degree will take part in this Maha Yagam which will be conducted in the spacious Gita Maidanam (SV High School Grounds) in Tirupati. The programme will commence at 3pm and conclude by 7pm on Thursday and rituals including Anujna Punyaham, Saraswati Devi Aradhana, Kalasharadhana, Maha Saraswati Yaga and Purnahuti will be performed, says a release from TTD here onSaturday.
