Tirupati:113 students of SPMVV secure placements

Tirupati: During the campus placements held for 2019-2020, as many as 113 students of School of Engineering and Technology (SoET) of SPMVV secured jobs in various companies. Cognizant company has recruited 53 candidates while Wipro gave placements for 14. Another 13 secured jobs in TCS, 9 in CGI, 8 in IBM, 15 in Q spiders and 1 in Veda IIT. The Vice-Chancellor Prof D Jamuna, Registrar Prof DM Mamatha and SoET Director Prof A Ramakrishna Rao have congratulated all the students for securing jobs.

SPMVV placement officer Prof R Usha has said that they have been teaching the skills to the students through placements and career counselling centre.
