Tourism hotel official attacks employee in Nellore, got suspended

Nellore: A woman employee of AP Tourism Hotel in Dargamitta of Nellore city was attacked by the Deputy Manager of the hotel when she had asked him to wear the face mask on Saturday and came to light late. The incident came to fore when the CCTV footage of the incident went viral and the tourism minister Avanti Srinivas suspended him.

The Deputy Manager Ch Bhaskar attacked the employee C Usharani when she was sitting in the office. He dragged her from the chair and assaulted her over the face, and head cruelly.

Her colleagues working in the hotel Swarnalatha, Hymavathi, Narasimha Rao and Ravi rescued her from infuriated Bhaskar Rao when he was attacking her. Usharani, subsequently, lodged a complaint with Dargamitta Police Station.

In the past also there were disputes between Bhaskar Rao and Usharani. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
