Transparency is top priority of the government: Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy
Amaravati: Despite having extreme fall in the State economy during the pandemic crisis, State government spent over Rs 28,000 Crores towards welfare schemes where the beneficiaries directly received the amount and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is being hailed by all sections of the public for his transparent governance.
Addressing the media here on Thursday, Government Advisor (Public Affairs), Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that N Chandrababu Naidu is repeating the same lies to confuse the public, but people are neither going to believe him nor forget his atrocious rule. The senility of the leader will lead TDP to extinction. People witnessed the harassment he has done to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the way he was treated as an opposition leader. He further said that mercantile nature Chandrababu Naidu was witnessed by the State public on various occasions and thus he was rejected.
Today Chandrababu Naidu is alleging corruption charges against the government in the procurement of 108 & 104 ambulances. Chandrababu Naidu should know that our government stands for transparency and corruption-free. While the State government launched 1088 ambulances on par with international standards with the latest facilities, instead of showing appreciation, Chandrababu is blaming Rs 300 crore corruption. "Chandrababu Naidu should be ashamed for making false claims as he introduced 1800 ambulances during his rule. All that he left to the State is Rs 2.54 lakh crore of debts and Rs 64,000 Crore pending bills. While Naidu promised to clear all agricultural loans of Rs 85,000 Crore, he managed to clear only a small portion of about Rs 15,000 Crore in a five-year period. Unlike Naidu, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy spent Rs 10,200 Crore only for Rythu Bharosa in a span of one year and cleared all the pending bills for services like Aarogyasri, MSMEs and fee reimbursement,"
Countering the allegations on utilising Rs 1300 Crore for coloring village and ward secretariats, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu got used to inflating the actual cost during his rule for his corruption. "The actual cost will not be more than Rs 13 lakh, but the opposition leader has inflated the amount and shown the public how he has done corruption. Though Naidu used his party color for Anna canteens, electric poles, and even toilets, he is pointing at us for using three pleasant colors to paint Village secretariats."
Instead of providing suggestions with good intentions to the State government during this pandemic, Chandrababu is unleashing a venomous tirade against the government only to boost his political mileage and to create confusion among the people. Our government gives top priority to transparent governance and thus we are even going for self-audit on every financial project.
