Tributes paid to army jawan at Vizag airport

Visakhapatnam: Floral tributes were paid to the mortal remains of Havaldar (MT) Ramesh Ruppa on arrival at Visakhapatnam Airport on Sunday. The funeral of army jawan is scheduled to be held at his native place, Gedelavanipeta, Srikakulam district on Monday.

Wreath laying ceremony with military honours was conducted at Shradhanjili Sthal at Airport by the G Swaroopa Rani, ACP(West), revenue officer K P Kishore from district administration, Lt Cdr A Kandwal from Eastern Naval Command and Col DK Rai, the Station HQs (Army) Visakhapatnam as a mark of respect to the deceased with a Ceremonial Guard of the Navy in attendance.
