Trimurthulu joins YSRCP

YSRCP president and Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy welcoming former MLA of Ramachandrapuram Thota Trimurthulu into party, in Tadepalli on Sunday

Amaravati: TDP senior leader and former MLA from Ramachandrapuram in East Godavari district Thota Trimurthulu joined YSRCP in the presence of party president and Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at his Tadepalli residence here on Sunday.

Trimurthulu, who announced his resignation from TDP on Saturday, said that he was joining the YSRCP as he was impressed by the policies and principles of Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that he would work for the development of Ramachandrapuram constituency along with his followers.

On Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan's comments that Kapu leaders were joining YSRCP under threats, he said that he would not react on it and there was no such kind of situation. He said that the development could be done smoothly in his constituency under the Jagan's rule.

The 100-day governance of Jagan Mohan Reddy has been very fruitful as many important decisions were taken and we welcome all of them, he said. MP and party general secretary V Vijayasai Reddy, who was present, said that the major decisions like reverse tendering, review of Power Purchase Agreements, Judicial Preveie Commission, 75 per cent reservation to locals in jobs and others were hailed by all sections of population and claimed TDP was on the brink of extinction. Ministers Pilli Subash Chandra Bose, K Kanna Babu and several leaders of the party were also present.
