Trying to save pet dog, man electrocuted

Salur (Vizianagaram): A man was electrocuted while trying to save his pet dog from electric shock in Salur town on Saturday.

The victim K Vinod, 34, is running his own taxi and even working with Nava Jeevan orphanage run by bis relative in the town.

On Friday, he slept in the orphanage and on Saturday morning he woke up as his pet dog was barking continuously. He found that it was accidentally contacted a live wire.

While trying to save the dog, he unfortunately contacted the live wire and lost his life along with the dog. Locals informed about the incident to the police.
