TTD decides to distribute laddus for free to employees as Ugadi kanuka
The global pandemic Covis-19 impact is seen at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. In order to avoid the spread of the virus, the TTD has cancelled darshans of the Lord and also closed Alipiri steps path for the devotees.
On the other side, the Lord's routine rituals are continuing on the Tirumala hill. By restricting the devotees, the laddus, which were prepared got stocked in the large number.
The TTD officials said that nearly 2 lakh laddus are still remaining at the counters. It's reported that the temple authorities have decided to distribute laddus for free to TTD employees as Ugadi Kanuka.
Over high demand for Tirumala laddus among the devotees, the TTD prepares hundreds of laddus every day. Now, with the tightened restrictions, these laddus got piled up. With this, the TTD has decided to distribute laddus for free to its employees.
