TTD to conduct Sundarakanda Pathanam at Tirumala tomorrow
Tirumala: The TTD will organise Sundarakanda Pathanam (mass rendering) coinciding with SVBC's 12th anniversary on July 7.
On that day 211 slokas of Sundarakanda Prathama Sarga will be recited to mark the completion of the rendering of the Prathama Sarga Pathanam.
The TTD commenced Sundrakanda Pathanam for the wellbeing of humanity and global peace on June 11 and the rendering of the slokas from the first chapter will come to end on July 6 with chanting of 8-10 slokas daily.
Eminent Vedic Pundits, TTD Veda Parayanamdars and Vedic scholars from various institutions in the city will participate in the Akhanda Pradhama Sarga Sundarakanda Pathanam at Nada Niranjanam in Tirumala.
This devotional programme is being telecast live every day by the SVBC channel of TTD between 7 am and 8 am and is being acclaimed by the devotees globally.
The TTD is also making elaborate stage arrangements following Covid guidelines at Nada Neerajana Mandapam for the mass recital.
It may be recalled that the holy Yogashistam-Dhanvantari Maha mantra Parayanam was also conducted from April 10 to June 10.
