Two dead after a travel bus hits a cement truck

Two people were killed in a road accident near Pododdi at Papili in Kurnool district. According to the police, the Jabbar Travels bus from Bangalore to Hyderabad had hit a cement lorry which was travelling in front of the bus. The two passengers in the bus died on the spot and two others were seriously injured.

The deceased are identified as K Manoj Kumar (19) of Chattisgarh, M Viswanath (29), of Chittoor district while the injured were rushed to a Guthi government hospital.

On the other hand, the driver of the bus went absconding.
