Two dead after a Welding gas cylinder explodes in Kuppam of Chittoor district

Chittoor: Two persons died and the other two was injured after an LPG cylinder exploded at a welding shop in Thambugani Palli of Kuppam mandal in Chittoor district. A welding gas cylinder exploded while a crane vehicle is being welded at a welding shop in the village on Sunday morning.

The deceased are identified as Afsar (30) and Ejab (28) who died on the spot, while the shop owner Ghouse Basha and crane driver suffered serious injuries who were was rushed to the local Hospital in Chittoor. The dead bodies were torn apart and scattered away.

The police have reached the scene of the incident and are investigating further. The explosion reportedly took place around 8 am
