Two died and four injured in yet another gas leak tragedy in Visakhapatnam factory
In a yet another gas leak tragedy at Visakhapatnam after LG Polymers gas leakage incident two people were killed and four others fell ill when poisonous gas benzimidazole is leaked from a reactor at Sainor Life Sciences Pvt Ltd in Parwada Pharma City in Visakhapatnam. The dead were identified as Shift Incharge Narendra and Gouri Shankar and one of the injured's condition is said to be critical. LV Chandrashekhar, P. Anand Babu, D. Janaki Ram and M. Suryanarayana were taken to RK Hospital in Gajuwaka. Collector Vinaya Chand and Commissioner of Police RK Meena are on the scene and overseeing the rescue operations.
Authorities initially reported the accident was caused by the overdose of hydrogen sulfide leaking at the reactor while the District Collector Vinay Chand has constituted a committee to inquiry on the incident. Rajya Sabha members Vijayasai Reddy has all inquired about the situation with Collector on Parwada Pharma City accident and found the details of the accident.
On the other hand the inspector of Parwada Police Station reportedly said that the situation is under control and asserted that they are conducting rescue operations.
