Two TDP Leaders Quit from Party in Badvel
It may be recalled that party high command selected Dr A Rajasekar as a nominee for TDP from Badvel constituency in the ensuing elections.
The leads unrest amoung the party caders and leaders as former MLA, and senior leaders, party functionaries, in big numbers resigned for TDP on Saturday.
T. Jayaramulu along with supporters joining BJP in the presence of party state president K Lakshmi Narayana on Saturday while ND Vijaya jyothi yet to be take decision over joining any party.
It may be recalled that T Jayaramulu who was elected under the banner of YSR Congress in 2014 elections, joined with TDP in during the operation Akarsha resorted by that party in 2017. However he reportedly devoloped differences with party Badvel Incharge P Vijayamma resulted party high command had relectant his candidature in the elections.
Meanwhile ND Vijaya Jyothi who was unsuccessfully contested in 2014 elections, got high hopes over securing party ticket at least this time.
It is reportedly known once in a stage Chandra Babu Naidu almost decided to announce the name of ND Vijaya Jyothi as nominee for Badvel assembly segment. But in the last minute her name was deleted from the list by selecting A Rajasekar for Badvel.
ND Vijaya Jyothi was working as manager of Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank in Badvel. During the 2014 elections she joined TDP and contested from Badvel SC constituency defeated in the hands of YSRCP contestant T Jayaramulu with difference of around 9,500 votes.
After her efforts ended invain due to party high command selected another person for Badvel she has resigned the party late evening on Friday.
