Two youth die and a girl drowns in Swarnamukhi river in Nellore after an accident

In a ghastly road accident took place on Saturday night at Causeway on Swarnamukhi river near Naidupet in Nellore district, two youths, Trinath (22) and Sai (25) from Visakhapatnam, were killed and a nine-year-old girl named Pravalika drowned in the Swarnamukhi river. Going into details, a couple Murali and Sujatha along with their daughter Pravalika, who live in Thummur moving on a bike and the three youths who are on another bike collided by a car. Following this, the Murali couple and their daughter Pravalika fell into the Swarnamukhi river.

Murali and Sujata, who were wounded in the dark, immediately came up the causeway and shouted on a large scale that their child was drowning in the river. Three youths were rushed to the local government hospital in 108 ambulances with serious injuries. Trinath and Sai died while doctors were treating them while Nagore survived with injuries.

As soon as he came to know about the accident, CI G Venugopal Reddy, SI D Venkateswara Rao and Balakrishnaiah reached the causeway with the police personnel. Already the locals have taken up the gale measures for the stranded pravalika that descended into the Swarnamukhi river. Fire department officials also arrived at the River and searched for the girl in the floodlights.
