Union budget gives relief to MSMEs: PWC tax specialists

Vijayawada: Specialists from Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC) provided insights into the Union Budget-2020 for the members of AP Chambers including business houses of Vijayawada and Guntur.

The AP Chambers in association with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC) organised an awareness programme on "Union Budget 2020-21"on Monday at AP Chambers Hall here.

PWC partner and specialist in Direct Tax Pravat Jena gave out his views on economy performance and policies, Partner Deals–Tax Amit Jain convened the proposals from direct tax and regulatory perspective, PWC specialist in Direct- indirect Tax Ananth Narayanan spoke on proposals from indirect tax perspective are the main speakers.

The tax specialists elaborated on how the budget provides relief to MSMEs and Startups while also encouraging transparency in systems and processes. Further, how some of the initiatives announced would have an impact on the economy and foreign investors. In this session AP Chambers president KVS Prakash Rao, General Secreatry P. Bhaskara Rao, Treasurer S Akkaih Naidu, Executive Director A Satyanarayana and Chartered accountants, CFOs of many companies, GST and Taxation Team, Finance and Accounts Team, affiliated associations, eminent persons in all 50 participants attended the session.
