Unlock 1.0: 146 Telugu people to be flown to Hyderabad from Singapore today

It is quite known fact that the government of India is repatriating the citizens who are stranded in other countries through Vande Bharat Mission. Many are evacuated for various countries to India especially Andhra Pradesh. In this backdrop, Singapore has made arrangements for the repatriation of Telugu people who have been stranded in Singapore amid lockdown.

As many as 146 people from two Telugu states have ready to be repatriated from Singapore on a Silk Air flight. 82 of them are from Telangana and 62 from Andhra Pradesh and two are from Tamil Nadu. The aircraft will arrive at Shamshabad Airport on Thursday afternoon.

Union Minister Kishan Reddy was very supportive of the creation of the aircraft, said Koti Reddy, president of the Telugu society of Singapore. He thanked Union Minister Kishan Reddy for granting timely approvals. Kapil AERO CEO Chinna Babu, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Aviation MD Bharat Reddy thanked the General Secretary of Singapore Telugu society for arranging flights.

Telugu community presidents Koti Reddy thanked APN RT chairman Medapati Venkat for helping to transport 62 Andhra Pradesh passengers from Hyderabad to Andhra Pradesh.
