Upgrade skills to get jobs, engineers told

Lara Engineering College at Vadlamudi in Guntur district on Sunday on the occasion of Freshers' Day and Engineers' Day celebrations here on Saturday, Raja urged the students to be aware of latest technology to get better opportunities and added that development of the country is possible with engineers. He said that there was a bright future for engineers. There was an urgent need to upgrade skills which would, in turn, result in fetching more jobs, he added.
MP and Vignan's Educational Institutions vice-chairman Lavu Srikrishnadevarayalu said that civil engineering students should have more practical knowledge than book knowledge. Vignan's Education Institutions Chairman Dr Lavu Rathaiah was also present.
