Upgrade technical knowledge, students told

Guntur: Prof M Ravi Shankar of Indian Institute of Technology- Tirupati said that globalization led to technical revolution. He said if the students upgrade their technical knowledge, they will get better placements.

He addressed a meeting held at RVR&JC Engineering College in Guntur city on Tuesday on 'Emerging technologies and challenges in mechanical engineering' on the occasion of two days faculty development programme conducted to the lecturers.

He stressed on need to do research. RVR&JC Engineering College principal Dr Kota Srinivasu felt that development is possible with development of technology. College Registrar Dr NV Srinivasa Rao was also present.
