Varshitha's murder case hearing adjourned to Tuesday, February 18
The verdict on the Varshita's murder case postponed to Tuesday as the accused has sought time to put forth his arguments before the court. The Public Prosecutor Lokanath said the verdict could be issued only after hearing the arguments of accused and adjourned the hearing to Tuesday.
Going by the details, a child from Angulla was murdered brutally on November 7 last year. The police have identified Mohammad Raffi as the accused who fled to Chhattisgarh after the murder and registered a case.
SP Senthil Kumar, who took the case as a challenge, has appointed special teams under Madanapalle DSP Ravimanoharachari to arrest the accused. Rafi was finally arrested and produced before the court on November 16.
The charge sheet was prepared within 17 days after crime and submitted to district's first Additional Sessions Court while the Judge Venkata Krishna has taken up the case. The trial has been completed on the 14th of this month and the victims were eagerly waiting for the verdict on the brutal murder.
