VE officials assess midday meal service in Guntur district

Guntur: The Vigilance and Enforcement department on Tuesday inspected the Angawadi centre and mid-day meal scheme at Namburu in Guntur district and noticed that the children were not coming to the Anganwadi Centre for the last few days.

They also observed surroundings are not clean. Anganwadi teacher was also not available at the time of inspecting the centre.

The VE officials found that there is no RO water supply in the school. Eggs are not properly supplied to the school.

Regional Vigilance and Enforcement officer T Sobhamanjari, MPDO P Prakash Kumar were among those inspected.
