Velugu animators hold Vanta-Varpu in Guntur

Guntur: Demanding that the government solve their problems, animators and resource persons of Velugu organised the 'Vanta-Vaarpu' programme at the Collectorate here on Tuesday.

Speaking on this occasion, CITU district president D Lakshminarayana said that YSRCP government had failed to implement the GO for hiked salaries for the last five months and sacked 271 employees so far in Guntur city.

He recalled that an animator Kranti Kumar committed suicide. Later, they conducted 'Vanta-Varpu' programme on the road to register their protest.
