Venue arrangements at secretariat for swearing in ceremony
Amaravati: The state government has been making all arrangements for the swearing in ceremony of cabinet ministers on June 8 at Secretariat at 11.49 am.
The Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam directed officials to make grand arrangements for the programme, on Thursday at secretariat in a review meeting on it.
He directed to install signage boards to facilitate easy reach of VIPs, Ministerial candidates, their relatives, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, officials and general public. He also asked the police department to ensure that there will be no traffic jam on the roads on that day.
Authorities directed to install the LED screes across the secretariat to allow visitors to see the programme. The big screens will help them to see the programme, he observed.
Subrahmanyam directed to print the route map of the venue on the invitation cards' backside, which would help the visitors to reach the destination easily.
RP Sisodia, Principal Secretary, GAD informed that they have been expecting minimum of 5,000 visitors for the swearing in ceremony and arrangements are under progress for that strength. After completing the ceremony, there will be high tea for ministers, their family members and VIPs.
Meanwhile, Chief Secretary also reviwed on the arrangements being made for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam on June 9. He interacted with the TTD officials and Chittoor district collector Bharath Gupta and others over a teleconference and directed them on the arrangments.
