Vice-Prez to flag off Gudur Superfast Express
Vijayawada: Vice-President of India M Venkaiah Naidu will flag off the new train No 12743/12744, Intercity Express between Gudur and Vijayawada in the presence of Suresh C Angadi, Minister of State of Railways at Gudur Railway Station at 9:30 am on Sunday.
The inaugural special train No 02743 Gudur – Vijayawada Intercity Superfast Express will depart Gudur at 9:30 am on September 1 (Sunday) and arrive Vijayawada at 3:00 pm on the same day.
En route, this train will stop at Nellore, Kavali, Singarayakonda, Ongole, Chirala, Bapatla and Tenali railway stations. The regular services will commence from September 1 from Vijayawada and September 2 from Gudur respectively. Accordingly, train No 12744 Vijayawada - Gudur Intercity Super Fast Express will leave from Vijayawada at 6:00 pm from September 1, and arrive at Gudur at 10:30 pm on the same day.
In the opposite direction, No 12743 Gudur - Vijayawada Intercity Super-Fast Express will depart from Gudur at 6:10 am from September 2 and arrive at Vijayawada at 10:40 am on the same day.
En route, these trains will stop at Nellore, Kavali, Singarayakonda, Ongole, Chirala, Bapatla and Tenali stations. This train consists of two AC Chair Car and ten Second Class Chair Car coaches.
