Vigilance & Enforcement probe into Sadavarthy lands

Amaravati: The state government ordered a probe into illegalities in the Sadavarthy Choultry lands. The case is being transferred to the Vigilance and Enforcement Department. There are allegations that the TDP leaders have taken lands at through away prices during the last five years. The YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy has been fighting against the TDP leaders from last four years, on this issue.

Manmohan Singh, Special Chief Secretary, Revenue (Vigilance) department has ordered the probe into irregularities took place in respect of lands belonging to Sadavarthy Choultry, as per the assurance was given by the Minister for Endowments on the floor of the Assembly in the recently concluded Budget Sessions. He stated that, the case is entrusted to the Vigilance & Enforcement department for conducting the enquiry, on Tuesday.

The alleged irregularities took place in respect of auction of lands belonging to Sadavarthy Choultry, Amaravathi, Guntur district.

The Commissioner Endowments Department is requested to hand over the entire records in respect of lands belonging the Sadavarthy Choultry to the Vigilance & Enforcement Department.
