Vijayachander takes charge as chief of APSFTVTDC

Vijayawada: Senior actor Telidevara Vijayachander took charge as the chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Film, Television, Theatre Development Corporation (APSFTVTDC) situated at RTC Administrative Bhavan here on Thursday.

Information and public relations commissioner and managing director of APSFTVTDC, T Vijay Kumar Reddy and communications adviser to the government G V D Krishna Mohan welcomed the new chairman with bouquets.

Later, addressing the media, Vijayachander exhorted the prominent Andhra people of Hyderabad to strive for the development of their motherland. He recalled his close proximity with former chief minister late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy.

He thanked Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for entrusting him with the responsibility and said that he would fulfil his duty with all humility. He said that he would visit the prominent Andhra people in Hyderabad soon to seek their help for the development of the state.

Vijaya Kumar Reddy, Krishna Mohan, general manager Sesha Sai, senior journalist Turlapati Kutumba Rao, additional director of information department D Srinivas, chief engineer Madhusudan, joint director T Kasturi, and several others participated.
