Vijayawada: Andhra Loyola College holds workshop for BBA students
Vijayawada: Identifying and developing the required skills for the industry among the students were the need of the hour, said Raja Dcruz, Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Bajaj Finserv, Pune.
He was addressing the final year students of Commerce and BBA at the HR workshop organised by the Department of Commerce, Andhra Loyola College. Students of Commerce and BBA, who underwent the Certificate Programme in Banking, Finance and Insurance at ALC participated in the workshop.
A team consisting of Bhakti Shrike, HR Manager, Prachi Mane all from Bajaj Finserve, Pune enlightened the students on the methods of facing an interview boldly with self-confidence in governments and private and multinational companies competing with thousands of candidates.
The team was also supported by Niranjan Kumar and PVR Chowdary from Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Business team. The group conducted interviews to all the participants and made an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of each student.
They told the students to keep on practicing mock interviews. The areas of improvement in skills such as communication, subject knowledge and interpersonal skills were explained to them.
Principal Father Victor Emmanuel, Correspondent Father Dr Sahaya Raj, Vice-Principal Father Dr Melchior, Coordinators Dr NA Francis Xavier and Dr G Sahaya Bhaskaran were present on the occasion.
