Vijayawada: APMRPS demands tabling of SC classification Bill in Parliament
Vijayawada: The leaders of Andhra Pradesh Madiga Reservation Porata Samathi (APMRPS) demanded that the BJP government fulfill the promises given to the Madiga community people in the Telugu speaking states. In this regard, a meeting was organised by the Madiga community people from both Andhra and Telangana at Press Club here on Friday.
Speaking to the media, APMRPS state president P Venkateswara Rao said that the BJP government had assured to fulfill the demands like SC classification bill and other demands within 100 days after coming to power.
However, after coming to power for the second term, the BJP was ignoring the issue which is a big concern among the Madiga community people. On behalf of all the community people, he demanded that the BJP government present the SC classification bill in the upcoming winter parliament session starting from December 3.
AP MRPS JAC state working president M Suresh said chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ensure that justice should be done to the SC community people on categorization as promised at the time of padayatra. TMRPS leader P Ravi, T Tagore, AP MRPS leader Veeraiah, I Raju, Y BhaskarP Srinivasulu, M Upender, T Jaipal and others were present on the occasion.
