Vijayawada: APNGOs demand scrapping of CPS
Vijayawada: APNGOs association leaders staged a dharna near the Irrigation department office here on Thursday, responding to the call given by All India State Employees Federation.
APNGOs Association State President N Chandrasekhar Reddy, speaking on the occasion, said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has assured that the Contributory Pension Scheme would be scrapped and the old pension scheme would be restored but the promise is still pending. He said the government is also delaying the implementation of PRC.
Employees JAC State secretary general Joseph Sudheer Babu demanded that the State government immediately resolve the pending issues.
APNGOs association district president A Vidya Sagar demanded that the government increase the retirement age of Class IV employees from 60 to 62 years and ensure that Health Cards should be issued successfully in the State.
