Vijayawada: Army men on 6,500 km cycle expedition

Vijayawada: Captain Mohit Tomar and Jawan Mitesh Singh are on a 6,500 km cycle expedition to bring awareness on water conservation and to promote a spirit of adventure among the youth in the country.

Commissioner of Police Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, Joint Commissioner of Police Nagendra Kumar, DCP-1 Harshavardhan, DCP-2 Vikranth Patil, Cyber Cell CI Sivaji welcomed the Army men in the city.

The Commissioner of Police complimented the Army men for undertaking the cycle expedition which started at Mumbai will reach Vietnam. He wished best of luck to them.

Mohit Tomar and Mitesh Singh told the media that they want to bring awareness regarding water conservation among people. They said that they were speaking to the students of various schools on the way.
